Waldameer & Waterworld

Rebranding

This is the final piece that I made during my time at Pittsburgh Technical College. This piece was created for the school’s Portfolio Show, which is the test of our combined training and knowledge over the past two years. I decided to keep it local, which is something I tired to do with a lot of my projects. So I chose the local water park, Waldameer. This includes over 10 individual pieces, created in the span of a month.
I tried to cover many different aspects of design with this project. I made pieces in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I printed onto brown paper to make a brown paper bag and assembled it. I even rebranded the park, using a more updated design. With a bolder font, and brighter colors to bring out the childish fun of a waterpark.
